Case Review: Two Blackberry Q10 Cases

Shopping for the best Blackberry Q10 Cases does not actually take a lot of effort, you just need to keep a few things in mind and try to go from there. As one of the current flagship cases of mobile phone giant Blackberry, the Q10 boasts a QWERTY keyboard paired with a satisfactory touchscreen design and resolution, which offers convenience and no-nonsense use. It may look a tad inferior against its rivals, but it is actually rated pretty high by both pundits and users alike. However, like all smart phones, it is susceptible to all sorts of damage that may come from all sorts of external sources. This fact makes it an imperative to grab hold of a case that will serve not only as a protective barrier, but also as something that complements the device in its entirety.

Otterbox Commuter

Otterbox Black

This company is known to a lot of smart phone consumers as a manufacturer that creates the most protective Q10 cases and other covers. Though their bestselling case is the Defender, let's take a look at one of their best products, the Commuter. With that said, what are the qualities that set the Commuter apart from other cases that gives it an edge?

  • Made of a combination of silicone and polycarbonate (a type of tough plastic), the case is able to provide optimum protection from superficial  scratches and chips.
  • Aside from superficial damage, it is able to absorb shocks and force derived from falls and various impacts.
  • Despite its protective capabilities and side and rear coverage, it is able to provide access to all the ports and utilities on the phone's exterior, particularly the camera and the keyboard.
  • Easily slips in and out of the pocket for fast and easy use
While not as good as the Defender, the Commuter is a great alternative for cash-strapped Q10 users.  You are assured of protection and easy use of your device with it.

Incipio DualPro

Incipio DualPro

While not entirely known as a manufacturer of protection-oriented Q10 cases, Incipio is known as a manufacturer of aesthetically pleasing and sleek cases. If put to use, it offers a number of advantages:
  • Its components, a combination of silicone and polycarbonate, the DualPro gives protection from both superficial and extreme damage.
  • Despite having a slim fit design, it is durable enough to withstand worst case scenarios.
  • Allows unhindered access to the keyboards, camera lens and flash as well as the other ports and utilities on the Q10's exterior.
  • Smooth aluminum finish makes you look good (and feel good) while using your device.
Though this case is not as well known as the Feather (Incipio's bestselling case), the DualPro is definitely a great case to have.

Regardless of your choice between the two reviewed Q10 cases, you will definitely have a great experience with your device. However, remember that aside from the protection given by the cases, as a responsible Q10 owner, you have to be able to take care of your device to ensure longevity and effectiveness.
